Professor Jared Llorens has been named interim dean of the E. J. Ourso College of Business, effective July 1, 2020.
BATON ROUGE - Rajesh P. Narayanan has been selected as the new associate dean for academic affairs and outreach in the Office of the Dean at the E. J. Ourso College of Business. Timothy Chandler, who previously held the position, has been named associate dean for undergraduate programs and assessment. Narayanan is also the chair of the E. J. Ourso College of Business’s Department of Finance and he will continue that role for the next year.
BATON ROUGE – Richard D. White Jr. will step down as dean of the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business at the end of this academic year. White has served in this role since 2012. His retirement will be effective in June 2020.
The LSU E. J. Ourso College is hosting a Business Graduate Program Fair Tuesday, Oct. 15, from 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. in the Business Education Complex rotunda.

BATON ROUGE – The Flores MBA Program held its annual Corporate Communications Case Competition (CCC) on January 24, 2019. A team comprised of two second-year full-time students, Christopher McGehee and Christina Vassiliou, won first place and $1,250 in prize money.

Ourso College of Business, have made their largest gift to date in support of the Department of Finance and the Office of Business Student Success. BATON ROUGE – The LSU Center for Internal Auditing (LSUCIA) will hold a conference for program alumni and other practitioners on Oct. 15-16, 2018. The conference, to be held at L’Auberge Casino & Hotel in Baton Rouge, allows attendees to network and share ideas while gaining continuing professional education credit.

BATON ROUGE – Robert Truelson, a recent graduate of the E. J. Ourso College of Business, has been singled out as “The Next Generation of Internal Audit” by The Institute of Internal Auditors.
BATON ROUGE – In 1985, the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) designated LSU as its pilot school, making it the first university-based internal auditing training program in the world. Thirty years later, what was once the LSU Internal Audit Pilot School is now the Center for Internal Auditing and the benchmark for similar programs around the world.
