Governor's School for Agricultural Sciences Alumni



Wesley Adolph 

Wesley attends Assumption High School in Napoleonville, Louisiana. He lives on a sugarcane farm owned by his father, and works with his dad on the farm. He is also an avid tennis player and hopes that he can continue to be an advocate for agriculture in his hometown. Wesley is a member of both FFA and 4-H.


Paycen Brouillette 

Paycen is a resident of St. Francisville, Louisiana where he is homeschooled. His family owns a farm, and he has a strong agricultural background. He began showing livestock with 4-H in the fourth grade. He stuck with it and now serves as a junior leader. He has a passion for showing livestock, which is evident through his production of swine. 



DanteNathalie Dante

Nathalie is a resident of Denham Springs, Louisiana and attends Walker High School. Nathalie’s family is from the Philippines, and she is fortunate to get to visit there occasionally. She has lead charitable projects in the Philippines and appreciates the beauty of the natural resources there. Nathalie is the president of the Beta Club at Walker High School. 


HamptonBrooklyn Hampton

A resident of Natchitoches, Louisiana, Brooklyn attends Natchitoches Central. She is very active in her FFA chapter and hopes to continue this dedication through college and her career. Brooklyn wants to study Agricultural Education and Agricultural Communication to ensure that she is prepared to meet her life goals. 




Cody Hanna

Cody is a resident of Ruston, Louisiana and attends Cedar Creek School. He is a member of both 4-H and FFA. He hopes to study Animal Sciences with a concentration in poultry science. He has shown poultry extensively and also raises and sells bantams. 


Cheyenne Hano 

Cheyenne is a resident of Ponchatoula, and attends Ponchatoula High School. She is a member of FFA where she serves as president. She has a passion for all areas of agriculture and hopes to pursue a degree in Agricultural Extension and Education. She hopes that this will allow her to continue to be an advocate for agriculture. 


Devin Herbert 

Ruston, Louisiana, is the place that Devin calls home. She attends Ruston High School where she participates in cheerleading and pole vaulting. She also works with a veterinarian in Ruston and hopes to pursue a degree in Animal Sciences and then pursue a doctorate degree in Veterinary Medicine. 


HodgeWyatt Hodge

Wyatt resides in Slidell, Louisiana, and attends Northshore High School. He is quite the young businessman; he raises and sells quail and manages his family’s firework stand. He is a member of both 4-H and FFA. He hopes to attend LSU and pursue a degree in Agricultural Business.  





Alexia LaGrone

Alexia resides in Lafayette, Louisiana where she attends Lafayette High School. Alexia is a member of the band, the Beta Club and 4-H. She competes in 4-H and in agricultural competitions through Beta Club. Participation in these organizations has allowed Alexia to travel to many different areas across the country.




Dalton Lewis

Dalton is a resident of Covington, Louisiana. He attends Covington High School. At Covington High School, Dalton is a member of the band, and plays the trumpet. He is also very active in 4-H competitions where he has been very successful in raising and showing sheep. Dalton hopes to pursue a Natural Resources Ecology and Management degree with a concentration in Fisheries and Aquaculture. 




Taylor Perrodin

Taylor is a resident of Crowley, Louisiana and attends Crowley High School. Taylor discovered her love for agriculture through her high school Agriculture 1 class. She has always dreamed of being a lawyer, and hopes to practice law that will benefit the agricultural industry. Taylor hopes to attend LSU next fall and pursue a degree in Environmental Management Systems. 




Ty Price

Ty is a resident of DeRidder, Louisiana. Ty is a member of 4-H, and has been interested in Renewable Natural Resources since he was in the third grade. The passion Ty has for this area has continued to grow, and he hopes to pursue a degree in Renewable Natural Resources after he graduates high school. 





Logan Reeder

Logan resides in Shreveport, Louisiana and attends Loyola College Prep. He is a member of his school’s fishing team, Key Club, FAiTH Club, lacrosse team and football team. Logan also serves as an ambassador for Loyola College Prep. He hopes to pursue an Animal Sciences or Natural Resources Ecology and Management degree and pursue a doctorate degree in Veterinary Sciences upon graduation.




Cameron Russell

As a resident of Crowley, Louisiana, Cameron attends Notre Dame High School. Cameron has always possessed an appreciation for agriculture. He is very involved in 4-H, and received the honor of being selected as a Louisiana National Conference Delegate. Through this opportunity, he was able to travel to Washington, D.C., and represent the state of Louisiana. Cameron also plays tennis and stays very dedicated to his studies. 




John Emory Walker 

John is a resident of St. Francisville, Louisiana. He is a student at West Feliciana High School. John is interested in studying Agricultural Business or Natural Resource Ecology and Management. He loves to be outdoors, and considers himself an avid sportsman.
