Purchase of Chairs
In order to stay consistent with general purchasing policies and procedures when purchasing chairs, please refer to the following information:
Chairs should be purchased off of one of the available Statewide Competitive Contracts which currently offer chairs at prices ranging from $300 - $750. Departments may not purchase a chair greater than $750.
If chair characteristics are considered necessary to address reasonable accommodation issues under the American's with Disabilities Act, the matter is to be reviewed and acted upon by Human Resource Management.
Requests for exceptions to the above are to be directed to the Director of Procurement Services for consideration.
