Over 1,200 respond to university strategic plan online survey in first month

 Posted October 4, 2016

In order to receive input from the LSU campus community on the university’s new strategic plan, an on-line survey was developed and posted on June 15, 2016. In the first month, over 1,200 faculty, staff and students responded to the survey adding their ideas to the process.

“Over 1,200 respondents during the first month of the on-line survey is a fantastic number especially given the fact that many of our faculty and students are off campus enjoying their summer vacation,” stated Provost Richard J. Koubek. “We believe this is a testament to the passion and dedication our campus community feels toward the university and we look for additional input when we welcome everyone back to campus in August.”

The results from LSU’s on-line survey will be combined with information from the focus groups comprised of faculty, staff and students, as well as alumni and business leaders. All of the information will come together to help formulate the goals and objectives utilized to develop the overall plan.

The survey will remain available until September 1, 2016 and you can gain access via this website or your My LSU portal. We ask that you take ten minutes to participate and join your fellow Tigers in helping shape our vision for the next ten years. Your opinions are important to our future.
