I am excited to inform you that the University’s new faculty information system, LSU Elements, and its corresponding public web profile, Discovery, have launched. Elements, the official repository for your scholarly activities, will be used to streamline LSU’s sabbatical applications, annual reviews and the promotion and tenure process. While Elements curates your activities, Discovery provides a global interface for faculty collaboration.
We invite you to explore Elements and Discovery, and more importantly, to review the data that was imported from Digital Measures. Moreover, we encourage you to link your profile to external data bases such as ORCiD, Web of Science and Dimensions in order for Elements to automatically retrieve your publications and grants.
As you begin to familiarize yourself with Elements, trainings and resources have been created and can be found on the Academic Affairs website. For questions pertaining to Elements, contact Mallory Danzy at email@example.com.
