Where Are They Now?

It's no doubt that LSU produces rockstars. Graduates of the university consistently go out into the world and excel in their fields, enact change, and forge new pathways for greatness. LSU CxC has had the privilege of working with many of these students and would like to share their successes.

Courtney Irwin

Mechanical Engineering graduate, LSU Distinguished Communicator, and former TEDxLSU Team member, Courtney Irwin has been working as a wellsite operations engineer for Shell New Orleans since graduating in 2015. She has been named President-Elect of the New Orleans chapter of Engineers Without Borders, which is no surprise to us. Courtney has always been committed to serving her community, and today she’s taking her skills to new heights. Courtney is using her engineering savvy and her communication skills to bring clean water to communities in Quiche, Guatemala. She also currently serves on the CxC Advisory Board. Check out how this LSU Distinguished Communicator is doing her part to change the world!
