APIC Committee Launches Initiative to Create Centralized Resource Hub for Faculty and Staff

In the world of web design, developers evaluate the success of a website by the number of clicks it takes to find information.   The less number of clicks the better the design.   Following that same thought process, the Administrative Process Improvement Committee (APIC) will undertake an initiative to create a “How to Do LSU” online resource hub for faculty and staff.

The website will provide easily accessible links to commonly referenced pages; provide resource guides, tutorials and other important information relevant to faculty and staff.   This initiative is in addition to the primary purpose of APIC, which is to provide a forum for faculty and staff to identify administrative process concerns and to suggest opportunities for enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of these processes campus-wide.  Over the past year, the APIC committee met and addressed several faculty concerns related to travel, purchasing and other issues.
