LSU’s inaugural Undergraduate Research Week will be held April 5 -12, 2019.  This collection of events will serve as a campus-wide celebration of undergraduate research, scholarship, and creativity in each of the senior colleges and in venues across campus.

Colleges, departments, programs, and student organizations are invited to submit events to the Undergraduate Research Week calendar which will be promoted widely to students.  Any event which promotes undergraduate work, exposes students to research opportunities, or encourages participation in research can be submitted to the calendar.  Examples of appropriate events include, but are not limited to: workshops, panels, lectures, demonstrations, competitions, poster presentations, oral presentations, performances, and lab tours.   LSU Discover will promote all registered events and incentivize students to attend events and participate in activities.

To have your events included on the calendar and promotional materials, email event information to lsudiscover@lsu.edu by March 1st, 2019.  Events already scheduled include: Geology RockStars poster competition, Linguistics Department presentations, LSU Discover Day, and more.
