Dr. Haynie, has been an active member of the LSU community since joining the Department of Political Science in 1990. In 2005, she earned the J.W. Annison, Jr. Family Alumni Professorship at LSU. Since 2006, she served as Associate Dean and then Interim Dean of the Graduate School, Vice Provost in Academic Affairs, and most recently, Dean of the College of Humanities & Social Sciences. Roy and Margaret Gianelloni Professor of Music Education
Dr. Jane Cassidy is the Roy and Margaret Gianelloni Professor of Music Education at Louisiana State University. Currently she is serving as Vice Provost for Human Resources and Facilities Management. She also serves as the university's accreditation liaison for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). Dr. Matt Lee
Dr. Matt Lee is the Vice Provost for Academic Programs and Support Services. In this capacity, he coordinates with the leadership of the academic colleges to facilitate the establishment of innovative and accessible academic programing, and works with student support units to ensure that students have the resources they need to be successful. In addition, he works to promote LSU as an engaged University through support of various initiatives that embed students and faculty at the local, state, national and global levels.

Dr. Derek Rovaris, Sr.
Dr. Dereck Rovaris serves as Chief Diversity Officer for the University and is responsible for the University's diversity initiatives. Rovaris, an education consultant, has been widely published and has served as a featured speaker on the local, national, and international level. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas with majors in human development and family life, psychology and crime and delinquency studies. He has a master’s degree in guidance and counseling from Xavier University of Louisiana and a doctorate in higher education administration from the University of Illinois.

Dr. Messer is responsible for strategic planning, outreach and communications, fundraising
and advancement efforts for LSU's Office of Diversity.
Tarchia Rankins-Lollis, M.S.
Associate Vice President of Budget and Planning and Vice Provost for Finance
Tommy Smith reports reports directly to the Vice President for Finance and Administration/CFO and the Executive Vice President and Provost. He serves as the principal liaison between the Offices of Academic Affairs and Finance and Administration. Mr. Smith provides executive direction and support to the Office of Budget & Planning whose main area of responsibility includes the budget and institutional research functions for the University. Mr. Smith serves as the chief advisor to the Executive Vice President and Provost in the areas of budgeting, financial planning, resource allocation, and data analysis. He also serves as an advisor to the Vice President for Finance and Administration/CFO on budgetary and administrative matters. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s in Business Administration, both from LSU.
