Michelle Masse

 

 

  Background:

Michelle Massé is a Professor in the Department of English and the Founding Director of Women's and Gender Studies. Her fields of expertise are theory of the novel, psychoanalytic theory, and feminist theory.

  Education:

Ph.D., English (Theory of the Novel), Brown University

B.A., English and Comparative Literature, Ann Maria College

  Research Interests:

Feminist, psychoanalytic, and critical theory; 19th and 20th century British and American novels
