Classes cancelled because of severe weather but hospital to remain open

BATON ROUGE - Classes scheduled after noon today, February 23, for first- and second-year veterinary students are cancelled due to expected severe weather. The classes originally scheduled for this afternoon will be rescheduled.

 

University offices will close at noon.

 

The Veterinary Teaching Hospital will remain open, and all students on clinical rotations should report to their rotations as usual. Clients who would like to reschedule appointments for this afternoon should call 225-578-9600 for pets and small exotics or 225-578-9500 for horses and farm animals.If your pet requires emergency care this afternoon, we will be accepting cases, but please use extreme caution when traveling and call ahead using the numbers listed above.

 

Interviews scheduled for today will be held as scheduled.  Students who cannot make their scheduled interviews should call (225) 578-9537.

 

The LSU SVM Bookstore will be closed today but is expected to open for normal business on Wednesday, February 24.
