Academic Chairs & Professorships

An endowed chair is the ultimate living legacy. A gift of $1,200,000 is matched by the Louisiana State Board of Regents with $800,000 to create an endowment of $2,000,000. Endowed chairs are critical to enhance the areas of excellence within the School of Veterinary Medicine, including Infectious Disease, Equine Pathobiology, and Biomedical Cell and Molecular Biology.
