The main clinic building has an upstairs apartment with a kitchen and office area.

Angelina Animal Hospital was built in 1957 and has continued to be a large part of the community with many loyal clients. We have 1 exam room and 1 surgery suite. The surgery room is utilized for about 10 surgeries daily due to our contract with the City of Lufkin Animal Shelter (Kurth Memorial). We also provide digital radiography, ultrasound, Idexx LaserCyte, Catalyst, and CoagDX, covered barn equipped with stocks and chute for large animals, SurgiVet multiparameter moniter, cryosurgical unit, VetDop (Doppler blood pressure), and nasogastric scope. We are in the process of building a new 8000sq ft small animal and 8000+sq ft large animal facility (24 hour emergency facility) at a near by property due to our need for expansion and dreams for such a facility.  The new facility should be constructed by August/September of 2016.

 

Lufkin is a small peaceful community located in the Pineywoods of East Texas. Nearby entertainment includes Stephen F. Austin State University, Lake Sam Rayburn and Ellen Trout Zoo. It is located about 2.5 hours from College Station and is in reasonable proximity to major cities such as Houston, Dallas, and Austin.
