Long time established ( 45 years) equine practice located in a rural community of Illinois, looking to hire a special associate. The practice has a hospital/clinic facility with a significant ambulatory service area limited to horses. An opportunity for expansion of services is currently available and the void needs an above average individual.


We have a full time office staff, one certified veterinary technician and one equine veterinarian. Our clinic facility has a surgery suite, a reproductive area with two heated birthing stalls, several exam areas, ultrasound, updated clinical laboratory, digital radiography, shockwave unit, power dental equipment and an AF A Certified therapeutic farrier.


Preference for the position will be given to an individual with advanced training, work experience, and equine skills since the practice area is highly competitive with numerous veterinarians.

Shift:  Full time and part time opportunities available. Specific work hours to be determined based on assignment and needs of the departments. Rotating on call schedule for weekends & Holidays.
