Student Recreation Center

The SRC provides a modern and energetic atmosphere conducive to the needs of our patrons. The SRC is a 121,000 sq foot innovative and comprehensive recreational facility featuring state of the art equipment, high-level programming, and modern amenities to meet the ever-changing needs and expectations of our patrons. The facility features include:

SRC Outdoor Field Complex

The SRC Outdoor Field Complex consists of 9 tennis courts, 2 sand volleyball courts, and 3 softball fields which can be configured into 5 flag football fields. All courts and fields are lighted, providing for day and night usage. The complex is open during the normal SRC operating hours, weather permitting. All areas are first come, first serve unless otherwise reserved for a program and/or special event. The complex is available for special event reservations.

PARKING

All vehicles parked on campus must display a current LSU parking permit. Students and faculty/staff should park in appropriate zones. Alumni and retired faculty/staff members must obtain a permit from the LSU Parking and Traffic Office or the Visitor’s Center. This permit allows for parking in an X-Lot or 2-Hour Lot surrounding the Student Recreation Complex.

RESERVATIONS

Racquetball / Squash and Tennis Court Reservations can be made on the internet through URlive, our online activity registration Web site, by clicking on the Facilities tab.  You may also call the equipment desk at 578.8364.
