A family consists of up to four members of a nuclear family. Each additional family member must pay the individual rate in the applicable category.

Motivate Friends & Family with UREC’s Plus 1
You do not have to be alone in your pursuit of a healthy lifestyle. Many people are motivated by working out with a friend or family member. UREC’s PLUS 1 membership allows a UREC faculty/staff member to extend their membership rate to one person of their choosing. This guest/member does not need to be LSU affiliated beyond their sponsor. Sponsor must hold a valid UREC membership.
- Faculty/staff who are current UREC members may extend a membership to one person of their choice.
- The rate is equivalent to the faculty/staff rate.
- The faculty/staff member must be present to sign up and renew their sponsored guest membership.
- The sponsored guest must present a valid photo ID.
- The length of the membership may not exceed that of the faculty/staff sponsor.
