Registration for LSU’s Spring Leisure Classes Now Open
BATON ROUGE – Registration for LSU’s Student Union Spring 2014 Leisure Classes is now open. Members of the LSU and greater Baton Rouge communities can use their leisure time to discover a new craft, polish a skill or learn to play a sport or musical instrument without investing a lot of time or money. Included in the spring line-up are more than 130 non-credit, personal enrichment classes, covering 19 areas of interest.
New classes include Card Making, Floral Design, Hip Hop, Drawing: Beginning, Pen and Ink Drawing, Sketching with Markers, Poetry Writing, Shiatsu, Zumba, Homemade Hummus, Craftsman Fly Tying, Mandarin Chinese, American Sign Language, and Spanish for Kids and Parents. Popular classes include Ballroom Dance, Wine Tasting, Pottery and Aerial Silks.
Classes are small and spaces fill up quickly so those interested in participating are encouraged to register early. Prices are reasonable and discounts are available to LSU students and their parents, Leisure Classes members, and LSU faculty and staff. Acceptable methods of payment include American Express, Discover, Master Card, Visa, personal check or cash.
