LSU Honors College Graduates Eight Students at December Commencement

BATON ROUGE – The LSU Honors College graduated eight students at the university’s 282nd commencement exercises on Friday, Dec. 20.


The Honors College gave special recognition to the students who participated in a specific honors program and successfully completed and defended an undergraduate thesis.

The following students, listed by hometown, graduated with College Honors Distinction, which also includes Upper Division Honors, for participating in a specific honors program and successfully completing and defending an undergraduate thesis:

Baton Rouge: Christian Hess, B.A., political science; Edward Limin Lo, B.S., geology; Christa Mahlobo, B.S., kinesiology; Malcom Christopher Ross Stagg, B.S.E.E., electrical engineering and computer engineering

Boca Raton, Fla.: Ryckur Schuttler, B.S., petroleum engineering

Greenleaf, Wis.: Ellen Victoria Johnson, B.A., theatre

Tampa, Fla.: Allyson French, B.S., kinesiology

Plano, Texas: Cassidy Von Springer, B.A., history
