Two Graduates Commissioned with LSU Army ROTC on Dec. 19
BATON ROUGE – Two graduates were commissioned through the LSU Army ROTC program during LSU’s Fall Commissioning Ceremony on Thursday, Dec. 19, held in the Dalton J. Woods Auditorium in the Energy, Coast & Environment Building. Col. Stuart N. Burruss was the guest speaker at the ceremony.
The two graduates were commissioned as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army:
Zachary, La. – 2nd Lt. Sheena Leigh Poole received a Bachelor of Science degree in natural resource ecology management from the College of Agriculture with a concentration in wildlife law enforcement and a minor in animal dairy and poultry. Poole is attending Officers Basic Course at Fort Rucker, Ala.
Port Arthur, Texas – 2nd Lt. Gregory Wayne Davis Jr. received a Bachelor of Arts degree in interdisciplinary studies from the College of Humanities & Social Sciences with a minor in disaster science management. Davis is attending Officers Basic Course in Ft. Leonardwood, Mo., and will serve his military obligation with the Louisiana Army National Guard.
