Thomas Greckhamer Joins Organizational Research Methods Editorial Board
BATON ROUGE – Thomas Greckhamer, William W. and Catherine M. Rucks Associate Professor of Management, was recently invited to join the editorial board of Organizational Research Methods, a leading journal for scholars in a variety of academic disciplines, including business, management and applied psychology. His expertise in areas such as qualitative and set-theoretic research methodologies made him an ideal choice for the board.
“Organizational Research Methods is the premier journal for research methodology work in management and organization,” Greckhamer said. “I consider being asked to serve on its editorial board a professional honor and accomplishment. I am glad to support the advancement of research methodology through my service at ORM. I also believe this contributes to the visibility of the Rucks Department of Management in our field.”
Greckhamer joined the faculty at LSU in 2005.
According to its website, Organizational Research Methods, peer-reviewed and published quarterly, brings relevant methodological developments to a wide range of researchers in organizational and management studies and promotes a more effective understanding of current and new methodologies and their application in organizational settings. Organizational Research Methods has positioned itself among elite scholarly journals, known for high-quality manuscripts from the qualitative and quantitative domains, micro and macro perspectives.
The Rucks Department of Management at LSU’s E. J. Ourso College of Business endeavors to prepare students for careers in fields such as international management, human resources, entrepreneurship and industrial/labor relations. A generous donation by LSU alumnus William W. Rucks and his wife, Catherine, has aided the department in securing faculty who are repeatedly recognized for their research and has aided student-affiliated organizations in achieving top honors nationally.
