Business College Bash Scheduled for November
BATON ROUGE – The LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business has announced it will hold its second annual Business College Bash on Saturday, Nov. 23, the same day the Tigers are scheduled to play Texas A&M. Just as it did last year, the college will host the event at the Business Education Complex, with the festivities beginning four and a half hours prior to kickoff and ending one hour prior to the start of the game.
According to E. J. Ourso College Dean Richard D. White Jr., the anticipated start time for the Business College Bash is 10 a.m., based on the likelihood that kickoff for the football game will be 2:30 p.m.
“Of all the games involving SEC teams that day, this appears to be the most likely candidate for CBS to televise in the afternoon,” White said. “We will adjust the time if necessary.”
Business College Bash is a tailgating party thrown free of charge primarily for alumni of the E. J. Ourso College of Business and the College of Commerce. The celebration will bring together graduates, friends, faculty, staff and student organizations of the college at the BEC in Virginia’s Courtyard, located in the center of the facility. Attendees of the Business College Bash will enjoy great live music, free food and drink and lots of fun.
“Last year’s event was a great success, and we anticipate an even larger crowd this year,” White said. “We hope to have as many alumni come back as possible to see the BEC and experience this new tradition with us.”
An online registration form has been made available for those who intend to attend Business College Bash. The form can be accessed at www.business.lsu.edu/rsvp. For more information, email Alumni & External Relations Director Wendy Luedtke at email@example.com.
