BATON ROUGE – John Anderson, the youngest son of artist Walter Anderson, will give a gallery talk at the LSU Museum of Art on Sunday, Aug. 4, at 2 p.m., in conjunction with the opening weekend of the “Walter Inglis Anderson: Everything I See is New and Strange” exhibition.

During this intimate program, Anderson will discuss his father’s work and answer questions from attendees. As the program is part of the museum’s Free First Sunday schedule, both admission to the show and the gallery talk are free to the public.

“Walter Inglis Anderson: Everything I See is New and Strange” highlights more than 60 watercolor and oil paintings, prints and printing plates, pen and ink drawings, and pottery.

The exhibition will be on display in the LSU Museum of Art, located on the fifth floor of the Shaw Center for the Arts in downtown Baton Rouge, August 2 through Oct. 13.
