LSU Museum of Art Pairs with Tsunami to Celebrate Independence Day with July 4 Fundraising Event

BATON ROUGE – The LSU Museum of Art will host its annual Independence Day celebration and fundraising event on Thursday, July 4, from 7-10 p.m. at Tsunami, located on the roof of the Shaw Center for the Arts, 100 Lafayette St., Baton Rouge.


Guests at the event will have the opportunity to enjoy a selection of Tsunami’s fine grill and sushi offerings, as well as wine and other drink specialties, while listening to the music of Blues4Sale and watching the annual fireworks extravaganza along the Mississippi riverfront in Downtown Baton Rouge from the rooftop terrace of the Shaw Center for the Arts.


Tickets for the event are $125 for LSU Museum of Art members, $150 for non-members and $50 for guests age 5-21. Children 5 years of age and under will receive free admission. A portion of all ticket purchases is tax deductible and goes toward supporting the museum. As this is a rain-or-shine event, tickets are non-refundable and all sales are final.
