Education Graduate Student Selected for National Exchange Program
BATON ROUGE – Jude Legiste, a first year master's student in the LSU School of Education’s Higher Education Program, and Miami, Fla. native, has been selected as a participant in the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators, or NASPA, Placement Exchange Ambassador Program, or TPE.
The Placement Exchange is a national job placement event. In his role as a TPE ambassador, Legiste will be responsible for serving as a conduit between the NASPA TPE planning committee and LSU students who are planning to enter careers in student affairs.
“I am thoroughly excited to have the opportunity to work intimately with NASPA,” said Legiste. “I am also honored to represent LSU and help put our young higher education program on the map.”
NASPA is the leading association for the advancement, health and sustainability of the student affairs profession. Founded in 1919, NASPA is comprised of more than 13,000 members in all 50 states, 29 countries and eight U.S. Territories.
