CFP Board Renews Registration for Finance Department Programs
BATON ROUGE – The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards has announced the renewal of the CFP Board registered programs in the Department of Finance. The programs are the Bachelor of Science in Finance with a specialization in financial planning and the Master of Science in Finance with a specialization in financial planning.
According to notification sent from the CFP Board to the department, the materials the department sent for renewal “demonstrate the quality of the faculty and learning experiences offered at your institution.”
Additionally, the CFP Board renewal notification states, “We hope that our partnership, developed primarily to meet our shared objective of providing quality personal financial planning education, continues to evolve and grow in the years to come.”
All CFP Board Registered Programs are required to submit student completion records. Details about the process, the template for submissions and access to the system can be found at www.cfp.net/registeredprograms.
