LSU College of Human Sciences & Education Director of Development Earns Fundraising Certification
BATON ROUGE – Wayne Miller, senior director of development at the LSU College of Human Sciences & Education, has attained the designation of Certified Fundraising Executive, or CFRE, from CFRE International.
Miller achieved this certification as a result of stringent requirements of professional practice, performance, education and service as well as successfully passing a comprehensive examination of the knowledge and skills required of a fundraising executive.
Miller has been employed by the LSU Foundation since 2008 and works in the College of Human Sciences & Education to enhance support for academic and outreach efforts. He earned a Master’s of Divinity degree in religious education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and received a Bachelor of Science from Troy State University in management.
