LSU Faculty Club to Become The Club at LSU Union Square, Offer Upscale Lunch and Dinner Dining Experience

BATON ROUGE – Beginning on Aug. 16, the LSU Faculty Club restaurant will officially begin its transition to becoming The Club at LSU Union Square, a fine dining destination for both lunch and dinner.

 

Located at the corner of Highland Road and Raphael Semmes Road, The Club at LSU Union Square will add an upscale dining option to LSU and bring evening activity to life not just for the university, but also for the Baton Rouge community.

 

LSU Union Square will feature the area of campus bounded by Dalrymple Drive, Tower Drive, East Campus Drive and South Campus Drive, and will include a new Barnes & Noble university bookstore; a new Apple Retail Store; a new five-floor, 750-vehicle parking garage; the recently renovated LSU Student Union and Union Theater; and connecting outdoor spaces. The new areas are scheduled to be complete and open by the fall of 2013.

 

Guests are invited to The Club at LSU Union Square for lunch each weekday from 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. and for dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. Private dining rooms may be reserved during regular club hours and are ideal for intimate groups or events with up to 45 guests. The venue is also available for special events outside of regular business hours. Metered parking is available near the club until additional parking is made available.

 

On LSU football game days, The Club at LSU Union Square will open from noon to kick-off as The Game Day Oasis Revolutionizing the tailgate experience, the restaurant will offer a delicious a-la-carte menu in a casual atmosphere complete with flat-panel televisions to enjoy the pregame coverage. Reservations are preferred.
