“God’s Architects” is a documentary that tells the stories of five divinely inspired artist-architects and their enigmatic creations. The film details how and why these oft-marginalized creators, with neither funding nor blueprints, construct their self-made environments.
“God’s Architects” helped Godshall get recognized as the Louisiana Filmmaker of the Year - New Orleans Film Festival and Acadiana Filmmaker of the Year - Acadiana Film Festival. For more information on the film, visit http://www.godsarchitects.com/.
Godshall, the first Louisiana filmmaker to have two films selected for the prestigious Sundance Film Festival, makes fiction and documentary films, both short- and feature-length. Godshall, who graduated from LSU in 2002 in English and earned an MFA in film directing from UCLA in 2005, teaches in the LSU Honors College and Department of English.
