Link-In Health Joins LBTC Award Winning Incubator

07/25/2012 03:50 PM

BATON ROUGE – The LSU Louisiana Business & Technology Center’s award-winning business incubator recently welcomed Link-In Health LLC as its newest tenant. Link-In Health is a consulting and implementation firm focused on simplifying Electronic Medical Record software integrations for physician practices.

Link-In Health was founded by LSU alumni Chris Peters and Jay Babb and recently hired another LSU alumnus, Ryan Bowker, as vice president of business development.

The firm works to achieve compliance with Medicare and Medicaid meaningful use measures in an un-intrusive and cost-effective manner and offers solutions without impacting the physician, allowing focus on patient care rather than information technology.

According to LBTC Executive Director Charles D’Agostino, the new company brings the number of businesses at the LBTC to 34, with an additional 31 businesses in the LBTC Student Incubator, representing nearly 200 jobs in the incubator and 600 jobs at the LSU Innovation Park.

“This is exciting to see an existing company spinoff a new initiative and hire additional people,” D’Agostino said. “I am especially impressed with the number of LSU graduates that are developing companies through the LSU business incubator and hiring LSU graduates and keeping them in Baton Rouge after graduation.”

Link-In Health is a leading vender of electronic health record software. The firm helps practices across the nation successfully convert to the Government's Electronic Health Record software systems ACT, while ensuring clients the smoothest transition into becoming meaningful use compliant.
