LSU E. J. Ourso College Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Tomorrow
BATON ROUGE – The LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, March 2, for its new home, the Business Education Complex, beginning at 10:30 a.m. The event will take place in the courtyard of the facility. Parking for the ribbon-cutting ceremony will be available across the street from the BEC in Lot X174.
Steve Forbes, chairman and editor-in-chief of Forbes Media, will serve as the event’s keynote speaker, and will be joined by a host of prominent state, local and university administrators, including Commissioner Paul Rainwater, Mayor-President Kip Holden, EADS North America Chairman and CEO and former LSU Chancellor Sean O’Keefe, LSU System President John Lombardi, and LSU Chancellor Michael Martin. Additionally, the Golden Band from Tigerland will be present to play for the celebration.
At the conclusion of the ribbon-cutting ceremony, self-guided tours of the BEC will be available and a reception will be held in the Commons area on the first floor of the Rotunda. In case of rain, the ribbon-cutting ceremony will be moved indoors to the first floor of the Rotunda.
