LSU Theatre Presents SciArt Presentation, “Creatures Great and Small,” March 6
BATON ROUGE – LSU Theatre will present the next installment of its SciArt conversation series, “Creatures Great and Small,” on Tuesday, March 6, at 7 p.m. in Room 125 of the Music & Dramatic Arts Building, located on Dalrymple Drive.
During the event, LSU biologist Chris Austin will discuss his recent discovery of the world's smallest vertebrate, a tiny frog called Paedophryne amanuensis that averages around seven millimeters in size.
Also, Raina Wirta of the LSU School of Art will discuss how she is inspired by nature, while Christine Mitchell of the LSU VetMed Library shows examples from 25 years of LSU’s International Exhibition on Animals in Art.
SciArt is LSU Theatre’s conversation series where art meets science. Admission is free, and conversation is encouraged.
