LSU Economics Department to Co-Host 11th Annual Conference
BATON ROUGE – The LSU Department of Economics, together with the Division of Economic Development, the Real Estate Research Institute and the LSU Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness, will host the annual Advances in Econometrics Conference at the Lod Cook Alumni Center, on Friday, Feb. 17, through Sunday, Feb. 19.
The focus of the 11th annual conference is research related to and inspired by the work of Jerry Hausman. The conference is a companion to the work “Advances in Econometrics: Essays in Honor of Jerry Hausman,” and will bring together authors and scholars for discussion, debate and feedback.
The editors of the volume and conference leaders include Badi Baltagi of Syracuse, Whitney Newey of MIT, Hal White of UC-San Diego and LSU’s own Ourso Family Professor in Econometrics Carter Hill.
