Contest Winner to Propose at Premiere of Swine Palace Production of “Pride & Prejudice” Feb. 3
BATON ROUGE – As part of the Feb. 3 opening night festivities for Swine Palace’s stage version of Jane Austen’s beloved 1813 classic novel, “Pride and Prejudice,” a 23-year-old male contest winner will have the opportunity to propose on stage following the performance’s curtain call.
The performance will take place on Friday, Feb. 3, at 7:30 p.m. in the Claude L. Shaver Theatre, located in the Music & Dramatic Arts Building on Dalrymple Drive
In addition to the proposal opportunity, the contest winner received four complimentary tickets to the production and a complimentary engagement photography session from husband-and-wife photography team MadTight Photography. The winner also received a free makeover, haircut and style for the couple and a styling starter kit from Salon Dolce in Baton Rouge.
