LSU College of Art & Design Distinguished Lecture Series to Focus on Sustainable Development Feb. 1
BATON ROUGE – The LSU College of Art & Design will welcome two representatives from the Environment and Infrastructure group at Buro Happold North America on Wednesday, Feb. 1, as part of the college’s Distinguished Lecture Series. The lecture will be held at 4:30 p.m. in Room 103 of the Design Building. The presentation, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by Gensler Architects.
In their positions, Associate Director Byron Stigge and Infrastructure Consultant Joe Mulligan collaborate on the sustainable development of the built environment. They work on a wide range of projects around the world including city-scale sustainable master planning, innovative approaches to water management, community participation in infrastructure development, LEED Platinum-certified buildings, detailed systems and façade analysis projects. Some of their recent projects include Orange County Great Park in Irvine, Calif., Tellapur City in Hyderabad, India; CSOB Bank in Prauge, Czech Republic; the Northside Redevelopment Plan in St. Louis; both Khed SEZ and Lavasa in Pune, India; the Genzyme Center in Cambridge.
