Exxon Mobil Corporation Gives $86,000 to LSU Foundation
BATON ROUGE – Local ExxonMobil representatives presented the LSU Foundation with an $86,000 gift on behalf of Exxon Mobil Corporation during a Nov. 14 reception at the LSU Faculty Club.
The gift provides support to the College of Engineering, in the areas of chemical, mechanical, petroleum, electrical and civil engineering, and for its Minority Engineering Program Academic Excellence Workshops; the E. J. Ourso College of Business, in the areas of accounting, business administration, and information systems and decision sciences; the College of Science, in the Departments of Computer Science and Geology & Geophysics; and LSU Career Services, through its STAR Employer Program.

Joining ExxonMobil at the event were faculty and staff leaders from the LSU Foundation, the Colleges of Engineering and Science, the E. J. Ourso College of Business, LSU Career Services, and LSU’s Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations.
The mission of the LSU Foundation is to provide private financial support for LSU, the LSU AgCenter, the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center and the LSU System Office.
