LSU Department of Bands to Host 31st Annual Tigerama Concert Friday, Oct. 7, at Pete Maravich Assembly Center
BATON ROUGE – The LSU Department of Bands will host the 31st annual Tigerama concert spectacular on Friday, Oct. 7, at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
Tigerama is a special concert event held to celebrate not only the current LSU Tiger football season, but also highlight the many talented musical and performance ensembles that are a part of the LSU Department of Bands. The evening includes performances by the LSU Tiger Marching Band, featuring the Golden Girls and Colorguard, along with the LSU Wind Ensemble and LSU Symphonic Winds.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. with a special VIP reception and silent auction held prior to the concert, which will begin at 8 p.m. The auction will include, but is not limited to, special LSU collectibles.
All proceeds from the Tigerama auction, reception and concert will be dedicated to help fund scholarships for both Tiger Band as well as the LSU School of Music.
Media representatives attending Tigerama can park along the south side of the Pete Maravich Assembly Center, just off South Stadium Drive, and are asked to enter the building through the northeast portal media entrance for check-in purposes.
