Seven LSU LBTC Clients Make Inc.’s 500/5000 List
BATON ROUGE – Seven client companies of the LSU Louisiana Business & Technology Center, or LBTC, have been named to the 2011 Inc. 500/5000 list of the fastest-growing, private companies in America. These LBTC graduate companies are General Informatics, inoLECT, Geocent, Medical Management Options, PMOLink, PreSonus Audio Electronics and Window World of Baton Rouge.
In order of ranking, General Informatics is number 1,042; inoLECT is number 1,473; Geocent is number 1,960; Medical Management Options is number 2,999; PMOLink is number 3,236; PreSonus Audio Electronics is number 3,292; and Window World of Baton Rouge is number 3,407.
Charles D’Agostino, executive director of the LBTC, called the inclusion of so many clients on this list a testament to the mission and efforts of the LBTC.
“The LBTC is excited to see many of its companies making the Inc. list for high growth companies,” D’Agostino said. “This validates the work of the LBTC and LSU’s role in economic development and is testimony to the great quality entrepreneurs in Louisiana.”
According to Inc., at least 19 incubator clients and graduates have made the list. Together, they employ 2,038 people and have revenues of $323.1 million.
