LSU Chapter of Transfer Student Honor Society to Induct New Members
BATON ROUGE – The chapter of Tau Sigma at LSU will induct 60 new members on Sunday, Sept. 25, at 3 p.m. The ceremony will be held in the atrium of LSU’s Coast and Environment Building, on Nicholson Extension.
Tau Sigma is a national academic honor society designed specifically to recognize and promote the academic excellence and involvement of transfer students. Membership is offered through invitation to students that meet requirements of having transferred to their school after one year at a prior institution with at least a 3.5 grade-point average or place in the top 20 percent of all incoming transfer students at their institution. The LSU chapter currently has more than 80 members.
