50th Anniversary Rat Pack Tribute Comes to the LSU Student Union Theater
BATON ROUGE – Three of America's most sought-after "Rat Pack" impersonators will grace the LSU Union Theater stage, Friday, Oct. 14, at 7:30 p.m. with "Tribute to the Rat Pack." The trio represents the best music and comedy of the original "Rat Pack" that made history on the stage of a Las Vegas showroom 50 years ago.
Tickets for "Tribute to the Rat Pack" are $25-$45 for adults and $10 for students. For group discounts for 10 or more, contact Terry Serio, assistant theater director, at 225-578-6013. The box office is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Representing the incomparable genius of three of America's most renowned entertainers, the impersonators channel the unique musical and comical talents of Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. and Frank Sinatra to the amusement of audiences of all ages.
Their authentic brotherly interaction is seen in both planned and spontaneous duets, as well as with song favorites like "The Lady is a Tramp," "Fly Me to the Moon," "I've Got the World on a String," "Everybody Loves Somebody," "That's Amore," "Volare" and "The Candy Man." Together the "Rat Pack" impersonators revisit the exciting atmosphere of '60s-era Las Vegas to "offer a piece of show business history."
This group of "Rat Pack" impersonators has performed across America in tributes to the original "Rat Pack" since 1998. These three crowd-pleasing performers bring back the laughs, the interaction and the pure fun of a magical time gone by, in one powerful show.
