LSU Honors College Graduates Three Students at August Commencement
BATON ROUGE – The LSU Honors College graduated three students at the university’s 275th commencement exercises on Friday, Aug.5.
The Honors College gave special recognition to the students who participated in a specific honors program and successfully completed and defended an undergraduate thesis.
The following students (listed by hometown) graduated with College Honors, completing a minimum of 32 hours of honors coursework including the upper-division honors program:
Louisiana:
Mandeville: Kelsey Leigh Daroca, natural resource ecology and management
New Orleans: James Dewitt Stowe, international studies
The following student graduated with the Upper Division Honors Distinction for completing the upper-division honors program:
Louisiana:
Baton Rouge: John Thornton Gilmer, computer science
