Concert Lineup Announced for 2011 “Groovin’ on the Grounds” Event at LSU
BATON ROUGE – Students on Target, a programming committee for LSU Student Government, recently announced the official concert lineup for the 2011 “Groovin’ on the Grounds” event, scheduled for Saturday, March 26, on the LSU Parade Ground.
All festivities will take place on the Parade Ground, with the Pete Maravich Assembly Center serving as the rain location. The festival and concert are free and open to the public
Coordinated by Students on Target, “Groovin’ on the Grounds” is one of the most anticipated events of the spring semester at LSU. Building up to the evening concert is the Students on Target Wellness Festival, which begins at 4 p.m. The wellness festival features multiple booths with food and activities, as well as large air inflatable slides and games. Around sunset, the games are taken away and music pulsates through the Parade Ground.
