At the LSU Board of Supervisors meeting, President and Chancellor F. King Alexander announced that LSU System employees across the state will receive a pay adjustment for the first time in four years. LSU President and Chancellor F. King Alexander meets with LSU Fulbright Scholar and medical physical student Lydia Wilson before the LSU Board of Supervisors meeting. Wilson will be spending a year in Croatia studying disparities in radiotherapy cancer treatment. LSU Associate Vice Chancellor for University Relations and Senior Associate Athletics Director Herb Vincent was recognized by LSU Board of Supervisors as he departs the university after 25 years to take a position at the Southeastern Conference office.
LSU President and Chancellor F. King Alexander, pictured with Baton Rouge Mayor-President and LSU alumnus Kip Holden and Metro Council member Tara Wicker, was recently recognized by the Baton Rouge Metro Council and the Mayor-President's Office. LSU President and Chancellor F. King Alexander spoke to local business leaders about the landscape of higher education across the country and his vision for LSU during the July Breakfast to Business, hosted by LSU Executive Education. On Friday, July 26, the wives of several members of the LSU Board of Supervisors and the wife of President and Chancellor F. King Alexander toured Mike VI's habitat on campus.
