Truman Scholar Catherine Fontenot of Basile, La., was recently acknowledged by the Louisiana House of Representatives at the Louisiana Capitol. The LSU College of Engineering recently hosted the High School Teacher’s Engineering Awareness Program, or HSTEAP. Participants were introduced to hands-on engineering design and instrumentation focusing on the engineering grand challenges, alternative energy sources and 21st century skills. The second folio edition of Shakespeare’s plays (1632) is part of the Rare Book Collection at LSU's Hill Memorial Library.
Clouds roll in over the Paul M. Hebert Law Center. The Louisiana Capitol is the tallest state capitol building in the United States with 34 floors and a height of 450 feet. The construction cranes at Tiger Stadium as the 89-year-old stadium undergoes an expansion to increase its capacity to nearly 100,000.
