The Technology Task Force of the LSU Transition Advisory Team met on Thursday, March 7. The Technology Task Force is looking at the changing culture, promoting efficiency and encouraging innovation. On Wednesday, March 6, LSU and Baton Rouge Community College announced the creation of a joint program that will benefit incoming students and help both institutions achieve the educational collaboration encouraged by the LA GRAD Act. The Tiger Bridge Program will provide an academic and residential link between LSU and BRCC, allowing students who apply to LSU but who fall short of the required admission standards to take courses at BRCC that will transfer to LSU while they live on LSU’s campus and have access to LSU services and activities.
Charles Fryling's landscape architecture class at LSU toured the College Town neighborhood near Highland Road. LSU boasts one of the best collegiate rugby teams in the Southeastern Collegiate Rugby Conference. The team plays and practices throughout the spring at the UREC Sport & Adventure Complex. For more information on the team, visit www.lsurugby.com. The LSU men’s soccer club is a student-run organization that competes in the Texas Collegiate Soccer League.
