Members of the LSU community gathered at the Lod Cook Alumni Center on Thursday to bid farewell to outgoing LSU Chancellor Mike Martin. Pictured at the event are, from left: LSU Head Baseball Coach Paul Maineri, Martin's wife Jan and Chancellor Mike Martin. On July 19, the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business and the LSU Flores MBA Alumni Association played host to nearly 200 LSU MBA alumni, prospective MBA students, recruiters and others for the social event Jazz & Cocktails. The event was the first major occasion to be held in the Business Education Complex and provided a unique opportunity where alumni were able to return to LSU and explore their new home on campus. Guests were invited to take organized tours of the BEC after hearing from E. J. Ourso College and Flores MBA representatives.
Students enjoy a lively discussion while relaxing in the Student Union. Students walk through the university's quadrangle on a warm summer day. Many members of the LSU and Baton Rouge communities gather at the LSU Lakefront to walk, jog, run, bike and more in an effort to stay healthy.
