A view along the side of LSU's new Business Education Complex, which will house the E. J. Ourso College of Business. A ribbon cutting ceremony featuring keynote speaker Steve Forbes and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal will take place on March 2. A view of the LSU War Memorial and the Memorial Tower. Completed in 1926, the Memorial Tower was named in remembrance of Louisianians killed in World War I. The War Memorial was completed in 1998 in remembrance of Louisianaians killed from World War II through the present day. A view of the clouds over Atkinson Hall at the south end of the Quad. Completed in 1924, Atkinson Hall was named for Thomas W. Atkinson, a former LSU student who was the president of the university from 1926-31.
LSU's new Business Education Complex is almost complete. The four-story, glass rotunda will be the home for the E. J. Ourso College of Business' student services, professional programs, institutes and college administration. Maravich played basketball at LSU from 1966-70 and remains the NCAA's all-time career points leader, having scored 3,667 points, without the benefit of the three-point line, in only three years on the varsity team.
