LSU is currently constructing the new Business Education Complex, the future home of the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business, which broke ground on March 19, 2010. On Friday, Dec. 2, Lenny Lemoine, president of the Lemoine Company, spoke as part of the LSU Flores MBA Program Distinguished Speaker Series. Lemoine spoke in the auditorium of the new Business Education Complex, which is currently being constructed by the Lemoine Company. LSU Chancellor Michael Martin holds his dog, Agnes, who is wearing a vest created by recycling unused bags from the College of Agriculture. Instructor Elva Bourgeois and students in the Ag Residential College program created the vests for the school’s Animal Assisted Therapy program.
Built in 1929 as a women's residence hall, Pleasant Hall was named for Ruffin G. Pleasant, an LSU graduate and the governor of Louisiana from 1916-20. A lone kayaker paddles across the LSU Lakes. Some great white egrets in the LSU Lakes.
