On Thursday, June 16, LSU Chancellor Michael Martin participated in a Chancellor/Staff Senate Forum in the LSU Student Union Capital Chamber. Martin provided updates on the status of the LSU budget, current and future legislative decisions, and how the Flagship Coalition is helping LSU. Construction continues on the Business Education Complex, as workers install glass around the four-story rotunda. Anchored on the opposite end of the Business Education Complex from the rotunda sits the auditorium. When completed, the complex will comprise a four-story rotunda, two banks of pavilions housing classrooms and departmental offices, auditorium and graduate classrooms. Colorful flowers soak up the summer sun near the fountain outside Dodson Auditorium. Situated in the Quadrangle just outside Dodson Auditorium, the fountain is set for renovations that will bring it closer to its original design.

LSU Staff Senate President Lisa Verma hands LSU Head Baseball Coach Paul Mainieri a copy of the resolution recognizing him as an honorary LSU staff senator for his paramount contributions to LSU Staff Senate and the LSU community.
