Before they departed for Hong Kong to perform in the Cathay Pacific International Chinese New Year Night Parade, the LSU Golden Girls and Tiger Girls held a public dress rehearsal on Sunday, Jan. 30, in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. The Tiger Girls and Golden Girls performed in the Cathay Pacific International Chinese New Year Night Parade, the most anticipated and best-loved event of the New Year celebration. Because of its popularity, media organizations from 14 countries carried the parade in 2010, including CNN.
