As part of Homecoming Week's CANapalooza, a signature service event of LSU Serves the World, a replica of Tiger Stadium was constructed on the Parade Ground from canned good that were then donated to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank by the university. LSU's annual Homecoming parade rolled at noon on Saturday, Nov. 13. Dignitaries, student organizations, sororities and fraternities greeted parade goers throughout the 3.5-mile parade route that wound its way around campus.
LSU honored its military traditions with Homecoming Salutes LSU Veterans on Thursday, Nov. 11. 2010 LSU Homecoming Queen Kristin Davis and Homecoming King Stuart Watkins were crowned at halftime of LSU's Homecoming football game at Tiger Stadium. The Golden Band from Tigerland takes the field for the traditional pregame salute.
The LSU Golden Girls line up on the field during the pregame festivities. The LSU student section cheered the Tigers to a 51-0 shutout of the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Junior cornerback Ron Brooks returned an interception 32 yards for LSU's first touchdown in the 51-0 homecoming win over the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
